The first step is creating and proposing a remit for club members to support. Once the club supports this remit, it moves on to the national and international meetings for further debate and to determine if the remit will be adopted as BPW policy.
Once adopted as BPW policy, BPW then lobbies the necessary parties to have this policy implemented as a governing policy that shapes the way we live.
Of coures this takes time, and of course there are many points of view. However, this is an incredibly effective way for individual women to directly shape national and/or international policy.
